Tried & Tested: Action Pack eMagazine for Kids.

Action Pack eMagazine for Kids
Available here $5

Created by awesome handmade site Whip Up, Action Pack is a tutorials-based eMagazine for kids. Their latest edition called Chalk and Cheese takes the idea of creating chalk and cheese from concept to completion – everything from making your own chalk to chalk art, science experiments, games as well as some simple recipes for cheeses (I didn’t realise it was so easy to make your own cheese!)
Unlike other magazines, there is no advertising to distract from the content which means it’s just 40 pages of pure info. It would suit primary school aged children best but the tutorials are simple enough for a parent and young child to create together.
Things I love:
• Magazine content follows one theme completely through to the end unlike many magazines that have a variety of unrelated articles
• It’s simply laid-out and would be easy to print off and assemble into a binder as a craft compendium for kids
• All tutorials are very accessible and most use items you already have in the home
• Contributors come from all over the world
• The recipes look delicious and could potentially be made by a cooking klutz like myself!
