Apptastic: Toca House.
Brand new in the Toca Boca stables is Toca House which will come out Feb 23. I can say already that it’s as fun as every other Toca Boca app! (we now have Hair Salon, Robot Lab, Kitchen, Paint my Wings and Doctor).
What I love about Toca Boca apps:
• They’re fun and colourful.
• They’re beautifully designed with characters that are totally cute with a quirky edge.
• They’re easy to navigate. You work out what to do intuitively rather than being given instructions (which is great for 2 years and up)
• Each game has a plethora of different activities so you won’t get bored after 5 seconds.
• Kids seem to love them (well Aspen does, anyway)
Toca House is all about doing chores (in a fun way). You can mop the floor, iron the clothes, put mail into colourful mail boxes, vacuum, sweep the floor…I wonder if it will make Aspen think that real life chores are fun now too… There are 19 mini games in all. It works on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad and will be selling for $1.99 from iTunes.
Toca apps are rad. We have robot lab and the 2 year old loves it. Great attention to detail and really nice graphic aesthetic. Anything that sets chores up as fun sounds good to me.
