Makedo Recycles Objects into Awesome!

2012 February 28

It’s really weird that I’ve never featured Makedo products before – they’re Aussie (available internationally), they’re all about re-using things we’d normally throw away and they encourage creativity in young (and not so young) minds. Check out ‘Chorizo’ the sausage dog that Daphne made.

Makedo is a connector system that helps you join anything you can find around the house – cardboard, bottles or fabric – together so that you can build your very own sculpture/toy/costume/playhouse/the possibilities are endless.

You can buy the Makedo connectors pretty much everywhere – check out this list – or just buy from their store online. Prices start at $13 – that’s cheap entertainment!

What a great idea! Love this! Kids like to use things around the house anyway. This is brilliant. Thanks for sharing.
