Picks by Alex: Wonderful Wallpaper.
The beauty of wallpaper is that it can radically change a room in a way that paint can’t. Wallpapers these days are insanely good and extremely varied. They make wallpaper to paint over, tolerate being in a wet-space, glisten with glass beads, imitate other objects, create optical illusions and more. I think I’ll let the images do the talking…

Wallpaper tips:
1. Check with the supplier or designer what glue to use with each wallpaper as it can differ greatly. Doing this also makes sure you get maximum life out of the product and a guarantee if something goes wrong.
2. Put it anywhere you want! Just because a design might say it’s from a children’s range it does not mean that it can only be used in a children’s room.
3. Hire a wallpaper hanger that you have been recommended. It’s an art hanging rolls of paper and not an easy process. In saying that give it a go yourself as there are plenty of DIY tutorials out there to help you. You might even do a better job than some ‘professionals’!
4. Use on-line resources to help measure out how much wallpaper you need. Standard wallpaper usually comes in a 10.05m roll and is 53cm wide AND if there is a pattern on your wallpaper look for the repeat size. That makes a difference to how much wallpaper you need as you will need to ‘match-up’ the patterns.
5. Wallpapers are made in batches. If you have to re-order wallpaper make sure you order the same batch number as colours, texture and pattern may vary.
6. BUT mostly be adventurous!
